The Slovak Prime minister’s party, SMER-SD, leads the polls one week before the European electionLe SMER-SD, parti du Premier ministre au pouvoir en Slovaquie, en tête dans les sondages
The Slovak polling agency MVK published on May 16th, one week before the European election, a poll on the latest vote intentions in Slovakia. It shows that the Prime minister’s party, the SMER-SD (affiliated to the PES) is leading the polls with 37.6% of the vote intentions. The second Slovakian political force of the European Parliament would be the OĽaNO party, that should get 10% of the votes the day of the scrutiny. The KDH, affiliated to the EPP arrives in third position with 8.9% of the vote intentions, that is less than in 2009 when it got 10.55% of the votes. The other Slovakian EPP affiliated party, the Most-Hid should be the 4th political force for the European Parliament in Slovakia with 7.9% of the votes. According to this poll, the NOVA party should get 6.2% and the SDKU-DS, which was the third political force in 2009, should get 5.8% on the day of the European election.

Le KDH (affilié au PPE) arrive, quant à lui, en troisième position avec 8,9% des intentions de vote, un score en baisse par rapport aux élections européennes de 2009 où il avait obtenu 10,55% des voix. L’autre parti slovaque affilié au PPE, le Most-Hid arriverait en 4e position derrière le KDH avec 7,9% des intentions de vote. Le parti NOVA arriverait d’après ce sondage en 5e position avec 6,2% des intentions de vote et le SDKU-DS, qui était la troisième force politique slovaque aux élections européennes de 2009 obtiendrait 5,8% des voix le jour du scrutin.
